Décor & Design

Décor Is an Engineering Problem Wearing Flowers.

A backdrop that looks perfect in a render can fail on the day for entirely unglamorous reasons — the venue will not allow ceiling loads, the setup window is four hours, the fabric catches wind, the florals wilt under stage lighting by nine.

We design against those constraints from the first sketch. Every concept comes with a structural approach, a material list, an install schedule and a plan for how it will look under the actual light it will be seen in.

That covers the full range: mandaps and ceremony structures, reception stages, entrance and walkway design, ceiling and hanging installations, lounge and seating design, tablescapes, signage and lighting design.

Anyone can draw it. The work is making it stand up, light well and still be there at midnight.

How a Design Gets Made

Design drawings and material samples laid out for review

Drawn to the Venue

We measure first. Ceiling heights, load points, power, sightlines and the setup window decide what is buildable before aesthetics enter the conversation.

Fabric swatches and floral samples arranged for approval

Sampled Before It Is Signed

Fabric, florals, finishes and colour are sampled in the light they will actually be seen in — not approved off a screen.

Installed by Our Own Crew

The people who drew it are on site while it goes up. Adjustments happen in the room, not over the phone.

How We Work

Designing With Sanskriti

The same five stages, applied to the scale and format of your event.
  1. 01

    Discover

We start with the event, the audience, the expectations and the budget — before any idea is put on the table.

  2. 02

    Concept

Ideas, themes, moodboards and the experience arc. You see the direction before anything is committed.

  3. 03

    Plan

Venue, vendors, production, artists and timelines are finalised and documented, with costs visible line by line.

  4. 04

    Execute

Setup through to strike, coordinated by one team with a run-of-show everyone on site is working from.

  5. 05

    Celebrate

You experience the event. We stay behind the scenes handling everything that would otherwise reach you.

Questions

Frequently Asked

If your question is not here, ask us directly — we answer honestly, including about budgets.

Yes. Décor and design is a standalone scope. We will still need the venue details, the setup window and the run of the day, because those decide what is buildable — but you can keep the rest of the planning in-house or with another team.

In Their Words

Décor & Design Clients

Décor & Design

I showed them a picture I had saved and half expected to be told yes to everything. Instead they told me our banquet ceiling would not carry that load, and gave me two other ways to get the same feeling. What we ended up with was better than the picture.
